See Ya Later Refrigerator

See ya later Refridgerator! Benton PUD has partnered with JACO Environmental, Inc. to provide the See Ya Later Refrigerator recycling program to Benton PUD customers. The program provides customers a way to recycle eligible refrigerators, save energy and earn a $40 incentive from Benton PUD.

Currently, many people buy new refrigerators and keep their old ones. These inefficient units usually end up in a garage where they become storage for just a few items – a waste of energy and money.

Follow the See Ya Later Refrigerator recycling program steps below to earn a $40 incentive from Benton PUD.

›	To Qualify:
	•	Your refrigerator must be empty, plugged in and working at time of pick up.
	•	You must be a Benton PUD customer.
	•	Your refrigerator must be at least 14 cubic feet in size.
	•	Freezers do not qualify.
	•	Limit two refrigerators per household, per year.


›	To Participate:
	•	Call JACO Environmental, Inc. at 1-866-899-5539. You'll be asked for your Benton PUD address and zip code. JACO will determine your eligibility over the phone and schedule a pickup date and time.
	•	Click here to schedule your refrigerator pickup online. Simply enter in your zip code and select a pickup date. If eligible, JACO will call you two or three days ahead of the scheduled collection date to confirm the appointment.

Qualifying Benton PUD customers will receive a $40 incentive approximately 30 days from the collection date.
