Frequently Asked Questions about Power Pay
How do I use Power Pay?
Simply go to the Benton PUD website www.bentonpud.org and click on Power Pay. First enroll for the program and then follow the easy steps to complete your payment.

How do I enroll to use Power Pay?
Fill out the information needed under the heading "Enroll". (Your Benton PUD account number and the last four numbers of your social security number or, if it is a business account, your UBI number.) If we do not have your social security number or UBI number on file, please contact Customer Service to update this information prior to using Power Pay. Next review the Terms & Agreements and click on "accept". Now you are ready to login. You only have to enroll the first time you use Power Pay.

To enroll, we need to have your social security number on file. If we don't have it on file, you will receive the message - "The system cannot validate your account information. Please try again." Please call Benton PUD customer service during business hours to put your social security number.

What do I need to enroll in Power Pay?
Internet service, a valid email address, your Benton PUD account number and an account number for the type of payment you choose to use.
Why should I use Power Pay?
It's quick and easy way to pay your bill online and available 24 hours a day. You can pay your bill when it's convenient for you.
Is there a cost to use Power Pay?
It's FREE.
Will I continue to receive my bill by mail or by email?
All customers will still receive their bill monthly by mail.
What form of payment can I use?
You may pay by credit or debit card. You may also withdraw from your checking or savings account.
How long does it take to process my payment?
A maximum of two business days. Payments made after 7:00 P.M. will NOT be processed until two days following the payment. If you are delinquent on your bill, do not use Power Pay. Accounts that are delinquent are subject to disconnect. Please make your payment at either of our office locations.
Will I receive a confirmation of my payment?
Yes. You will receive an email that confirms the payment received.
Can I access my payment history?
Not yet. This service will be offered in the future.
If I have a question about Power Pay, what can I do?
Call our customer service department during normal working hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 582-2175. Or you may email your questions to Questions@bentonpud.org.
Is my account secure?
Is my payment information secure? Yes. Power Pay has security measures implemented to protect your accounts.
Can I pay my account in advance?
Yes. This is an easy way to pay if you plan to out of town.
Do I need to enroll each time I use Power Pay?
No. Once you are enrolled, simply login to pay your bill.
What if I forget my password?
Below the Power Pay login, there is "Forget your password" link. Click on it and follow the steps for help.
What if my credit card number or expiration date changes?
Go to "Manager Profile" and update by deleting the information and resubmitting the new credit card number and/or expiration date.
What is the account nickname?
You can set up your payments on more than one account. By using a "nickname" you can designate each way you want to pay such as "Visa" or "Checking". You can set up payments to be taken from different accounts, using the nickname to identify the account.
What is the Benton PUD account nickname?
Some customers have more than one account. This enables you to name each account such as "Home" or "pool" so that you don't need your Benton PUD account number once you are enrolled.
Can I still donate to Helping Hands?
Yes. An easy way to donate to Helping Hands is by filling out the form located with the Helping Hands information on the website. This will automatically add to your donation to you bill each month.
