Benton PUD is kicking off National Elecrical Safety Awareness Month this May, but we encourage practicing electrical safety year-round. The purpose of this month is offer electrical safety education for the home, school, and workplace. 

National Electrical Safety Awareness Month was created by the Electrical Safety Foundation International(ESFI) to reduce the number of electrically-related fires, fatalities, injuries, and property loss. 

To kick off this month, Benton PUD encourages you, your family, and coworkers to share the following information from ESFI:
