Helping Hands funds are available for qualified low income customers. Donations are distributed through Community Action Connections (CAC) to customers who need help paying their electric bill and meet CAC guidelines. Please contact CAC at (509) 545-4065 for more information.
Beat the Heat Helping Hands Promotion
Summer brings hot temperatures, high electric bills and a chance for you to help a neighbor in need pay their electric bill.
While supplies last, you will receive an energy-saving power strip free of charge if you make a:
• Monthly reoccurring donation of $1 or more to Helping Hands or increase your current monthly donation, or
• One-time donation of $20 or more to Helping Hands
You must come into our lobby to pick up your power strip. Sorry, they cannot be mailed.
Make a monthly donation – You can make a monthly donation to Benton PUD's Helping Hands program by completing the form below. Please identify the amount you would like to pledge and it will be added to your bill each month.
Make a one-time donation - You can make a one-time donation to Benton PUD's Helping Hands program by contacting Customer Service during normal business hours at (509) 582-2175 in Kennewick or (509) 786-1841 in Prosser or by clicking here to make a donation online. When making a donation online you will need your Benton PUD Account Number and the last four digits of your zip code.
