Heat Pump Water Heaters:  $700 to $900
Split-System Heat Pump Water Heater: $1,100

Heat pump water heaters are twice as efficient as conventional electric tank-style water heaters.  Heat pump water heaters pull heat from the surrounding air using refrigerant and transfer it to the water in the storage tank.  Heat pump water heaters are best installed in a garage, utility room or basement with enough space, at least 1,000 cubic feet (or the equivalent of a 12’x10’x8’ space).  They also require enough clearance to access the filter, which must be cleaned regularly.  Heat pump water heaters release cool, dry air and act like a dehumidifier and therefore require condensation drainage.  They also generate sounds similar to a freezer. Split-System Heat Pump Water Heaters are defined as having a tank inside and a compressor outside similar to a central air conditioning system.

Rebates are available for replacement of an electric tank-style water heater in new or existing single family site-built home, and existing manufactured homes.

Heat Pumps:  $200 to $1,200
Ductless Heat Pumps:  $800

Typically, over 40% of your utility bill goes towards heating and cooling.  Qualified heating equipment can be up to 15% more efficient than standard models.

Ductless heat pump systems use a fraction of the energy of traditional heating sources resulting in a reduction on your heating bill and a more comfortable home.  Ductless systems deliver warm or cool air directly into your home, without having to route it through your existing ducts.  It is easier to install and less expensive.

To be eligible for a rebate, all work must be performed by an Approved Contractor.

Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps: $125 to $200

Energy savings from packaged terminal heat pumps are primarily from a more efficient use of heating during the winter compared to a packaged terminal air conditioner or zonal electric-resistance heating.

Insulation:  $0.06 to $2.00 per square foot

As much as half of the energy used in your home goes towards heating and cooling.  By preventing heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer, a properly installed insulation barrier reduces your utility bills year around.

Rebates are available and vary depending upon location of the insulation and type of home.

To be eligible for a rebate, all work must be performed by an Approved Contractor.

Doors:  $40 per door

ENERGY STAR® qualified doors help reduce drafts and keep your home at a constant temperature.

To be eligible for a rebate, installation must be performed by an Approved Contractor.

Windows:  $6 to $12 per square foot

Energy efficient windows can help keep homes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer by blocking up to 70% of the solar heat gain in the summer and reflecting the radiant heat indoors during the winter.

Rebates are available and vary depending upon type of home.
