Help Shape Our 2026 Resource Plan

Benton PUD is planning what resources we will need to fulfill electricity obligations to our customers in Benton County. You have a say in what that looks like.

Revised Code of Washington (RCW) Chapter 19.280 requires electric utilities to prepare resource plans every two years. The RCW requires the Commission to encourage participation of its consumers in development of the plans and to approve the plans after it has provided public notice and hearing. The final plan must be submitted to the Department of Commerce by September 1, 2026. The District’s 2024 Resource Plan was approved by Resolution No. 2681 on August 27, 2024.

For the District's current and previous Resource Plans, visit our Resource Planning page.

Our Primary Goals for the Resources We Acquire
