Last week Benton PUD took a delivery of a new power transformer at our Orchard View substation on Columbia Center Boulevard.
 
This addition will allow Benton PUD to meet the near term capacity requirements for the Vista Field area and surrounding development while the BPA interconnection request for Edison Street Substation is being processed.
 
Additionally this second bay will also provide long term incremental capacity for further development of the west 10^th avenue and Clodfelter road areas extending on Bob Olsen Parkway into the Southridge development area.
